This month, you’re probably planning on seeing?Captain America: Civil War,?but there are plenty of other films hitting cinemas. Here are ten releases we think you should consider seeing this month!

1) Hardcore Henry – 8/4
A first person, Russian made action film with an 18 rating? Well, I’m in.

2) Midnight Special – 8/4
A stellar cast and an interesting premise make this a must watch for all fans of sci-fi stories that ask big questions.

3) Criminal – 15/4
Kevin Costner, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, Gary Oldman and Tommy Lee Jones in action thriller? This film has come out of nowhere, and could well be worth your time.

4) Eye in the Sky 15/4
A tense trailer and a fantastic cast make this thriller about drone warfare seem like it could be interesting. It also features one of the last performances from Alan Rickman, who’s proved many times that he’s an actor that’s always worth watching.

5) The Jungle Book 15/4
The other big release this month, The Jungle Book is being called ‘the most technologically advanced film of all time’. Judging by the trailers, this could well be true.

6) Friend Request – 20/4
This one could be a turkey, but the reason I’m willing to give it a chance is that two years ago a film called?Unfriended?was released, which had a similar premise, and was actually quite good. Fingers crossed for another surprise.

7) Bastille Day – 22/4
I never pass up a chance to see Idris Elba in an action film, and here he’s joined by Richard Madden from Game of Thrones, so this is a very fanboy friendly release.

8) Miles Ahead – 22/4
This Miles Davis biopic won’t appeal to everyone, but fans of Davis and biopics in general will probably enjoy Don Cheadle’s first feature film as a director.

9) Demolition – 29/4
Jake Gyllenhaal is normally a pretty safe bet, and the latest release from Jean-Marc Vall?e, director of Dallas Buyers Club and Wild, will more than likely be a worthy watch.

10) Ratchet and Clank – 29/4
I knew this film was happening, but so soon? It’s brave to go up against?Civil War,?but if this is as fun as the early games, it could be the beginning of a new franchise.
Which of these films are you planning on seeing this month? Have we missed any you’re excited about? Share any thoughts below.
