Pacific Rim sequel update
Guillermo del Toro in an interview with Collider has given us some plot details about the next instalment in the Pacific Rim franchise. The sequel will continue a few?years after the events of the first film in a Kaiju free world. Apparently the technology of the Jaegers has stepped up in the absence of a permanent threat of Kaiju. Expect to see a return from Charlie Day and Burn Gorman who played the two zany scientists from the first film. Del Toro?has enough material for a third film also and is stepping softly to ensure there is room for further sequels?in the?series.

Harrison Ford to appear in Blade Runner sequel
Although many are still undecided as to whether or not they want a sequel to Blade Runner, the production train continues to chug along. The latest updates has Harrison Ford attached to the project to reprise his role from the original film.

Jake Gyllenhall undergoes transformation for role
After playing a?skinny creep in Nightcrawler, Jake Gyllenhaal has now packed on the muscle to play the role of a rising-star boxer in the upcoming film Southpaw. A transformation on level with Christian Bale’s shape shifting ability. Perhaps this will thrust Gyllenhaal into the eyes of the Academy Awards?

HBO hires 160?lawyers for Scientology documentary
HBO loves controversy and continues that trend with an upcoming Scientology documentary. Being the mysterious religion/cult backed by many celebrities including Tom Cruise and John Travolta, Scientology is normally a topic to avoid and for good reason. They have plenty of money, resources and lawyers to make sure any negative view of them is erased. If this post mysteriously disappears, I guess we will all know why.

Netflix CEO states broadcast television dead in 16 years
A bold claim and quite convenient accusation from the person to most benefit from the situation. TV as we know it is on the decline as people’s watching habits change, but to claim that no one would watch it in 16 years is a big leap; only?time will tell.
