We have Iron Fist being released on the horizon, Luke Cage has just finished its first season and the Defenders have been confirmed for 2017. All aboard the Netflix hype-train! We’ve already discussed in the past what shows we would like to see become TV shows, however, this list is a list of shows we want to see done in the now established Netflix format.
Put Money on it
Moon Knight –?Initially a role we wanted Matthew?McConaughey to play, now a viable candidate for Netflix fame. I doubt McConaughey would be interested in this role if it didn’t lead to film. I would love to see the same team that brought Daredevil to us have an attempt at this crazed hero. Taking, perhaps, an even darker tone than Daredevil. A real challenge for any actor to accurately portray the different sides to Moon Knight.
Dream casting: Karl Urban
Ghost Rider –?He’s already made his appearance in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and has been received quite positively. By giving Ghost Rider a Netflix show, he could help form my ideal dream team of Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade and The Punisher. Special effects aside, following a more vengeful hero that can also open the door to more magical aspects of the Marvel world would be a great addition in my eyes.
Dream casting:?Gabriel Luna
This Could Happen
Blade –?The half-man, half-vampire, all kicking ass defender of the world. As a key member of my dream team, in my opinion, Blade could happen. I would expect a cameo from Wesley Snipes or perhaps a permanent role as Blade’s mentor.
Dream casting: Michael Jai White
Hawkeye –?Jeremy Renner has already shown interest in a possible solo series. If they’re able to have some of the Avengers appear intermediately also, I think this series would be a real winner.
Probably Not…
Agent Carter REVIVED –?BRING IT BACK! We didn’t even get to the point of S.H.I.E.L.D. being established. If anyone can save this franchise, it has to be Netflix. Although, admittedly, it works best being paired with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. rather than fit into the Netflix-verse.

How about an anthology series to give short (3 episode) shows for lesser known but story rich characters that wouldn’t fit into a Hargreaves stand alone series? Call it STRANGE TALES if you can convince Cumberbatch to narrate, or JOURNEY INTO WONDER with The Watcher doing opening/closing dialogue. Potential characters: Gargoyle, Man-thing, Doctor Druid, Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur, Nova, Wierd World, The Black Knight, Mantis, The Swordsman, Wonder Man, Goliath… The list is nearly endless.
